About Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center
Since its inauguration in 2004, the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center has stood as the definitive landmark for trade and innovation in the Greater Bay Area. Backed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and managed with world-class operational precision, SZCEC is more than a venue, it is a sophisticated, multipurpose ecosystem that integrates exhibition, conference, business, and leisure services. As a thriving epicenter of global commerce, it has hosted over 100 major exhibitions and 1,800+ high-level conferences annually across an expansive 2.8 million square meters, providing the perfect stage for visionaries to connect, collaborate, and scale their impact.
Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (SZCEC), which integrates exhibitions, conferences, business, catering, entertainment and other multi-functions, was invested by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and entrusted to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Management Co., LTD. for operation, and was officially put into use in 2004. Since its opening in 2004, about 100 exhibitions and more than 1,800 conference events have been held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center every year, with an annual exhibition area of more than 2.8 million square meters.
China announced visa-free entry for citizens of Brunei, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, the Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Russia and Sweden for up to 30 days. The mutual visa exemption with Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE, Qatar and other Asian countries gives easy access to China.
Citizens of 55 countries, including Indonesia, and the United Kingdom, may transit through China using 240-hour vise-free transit policy if they hold valid international travel documents and interline tickets with confirmed dates and seats to a third country or region. They may enter China through any of the 60 open ports across 24 provinces and stay in designated areas for up to 10 days. MODE OF TRANSPORTATION
The most convenient way to reach the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (SZCEC) from HKIA is via the cross-border coach service.
Step 1: Secure Your Ticket
Purchase your ticket at the TIL Chinalink ticketing counter or [click here to pre-purchase] to save time.
Step 2: Board the Coach
Board the coach directly from HKIA to Shenzhen Bay Port. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Step 3: Transfer to the Venue
After completing customs and immigration clearance at Shenzhen Bay Port, follow the signage to the taxi stand. Take a local taxi directly to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. The final leg of the journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
For international attendees arriving via Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), the most direct route to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (SZCEC) is via the Shenzhen Bay Port.
Simply take a taxi from the HKIA taxi stand to Shenzhen Bay Port (approximately 40–50 minutes). Upon completing your customs and immigration clearance, you can easily transfer to a Shenzhen taxi, which will take you directly to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in about 30 minutes.
